Oh, you didn’t hear? Rob Zombie’s Halloween the movie is hitting theaters on August 31st. Here’s a preview:

I’ve always liked the Halloween movies, but Halloween the movie with Rob at the helm is sure to be a whole other kind of movie.

Personally, my favorite Rob Zombie movie was The Devil’s Rejects. Even though the characters in this film are complete sociopaths, you still find yourselves feeling for them (or maybe I’m a sociopath too??) and hoping they make get away.

I think that this take on Halloween will be much more graphic, and more intense. The original, being as old as it is, doesn’t go near as far as today’s effects and culture will allow. I can see Rob pushing the envelope much farther in that direction.

All in all, I can not wait to see this movie. I hope you all go and see it too!

My Vacation in Mexico

A bunch of friends of mine always go on a big vacation every year. Last year we did London, and France, both of which were a lot of fun.

This year we decided to go to Mexico. The best thing about this was the great vacation house we rented from Vibo.com. My friend Mike had used this website before to find aFlorida vacation rentals, so we knew they would take good care of us.

Here’s a picture of the beach front condo with a pool we rented:

I hope when I get old and retire I’ll be able to get a nice house in Mexico like this, because this really is how you relax and enjoy life. I’m only now really getting back in the grind of working and being home again, and all I can think about is where were going to get a rental at next year. Since Vibo.com has so many properties around the world, it’s going to be hard to decide.

So I signed up for an account at www.payperpost.com (ads on blogs) and this is the first post I’ll be making for them.

For those of you who haven’t heard of this the name basically says it all. PayPerPost connects bloggers who are broke and hungry with companies who want to get exposure for their product/service/message.

I’ve heard a bit of controversy about this in the past, and at first I wasn’t planning on signing up, but then I started noticing more and more blogs that I like reading participating so I figured why not me.

All in all it’s very easy to get started. All you need is a blog and PayPal account. Even people who are technically illiterate should be able to add the line of code to their blog theme/template that makes the whole system work.

So, to wrap this up I’ve added a new category titled “PayPerPost” and any post I make for this service will be disclosed by placing it in that category. I do promise to remain objective in reviewing advertisers services, as much as I can.
