Supreme Court upholds “secret law” requiring travelers to show their ID to fly
Monday January 08th 2007, 1:38 pm

If this ruling doesn’t truly discredit the Supreme Court as just another rubber stamp I don’t know what will.  The ruling is in reference to Gilmore v. Gonzales, 06-211, in which millionaire Libertarian Activist John Gilmore (co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation) attempted to force the the federal government to disclose the actual law that requires people traveling by air to either show ID or submit to a more thorough search when passing through airport security.

The justices, by letting the appeals court ruling against Gilmore stand, have legitimized the use of “secret laws” against the citizens of the United States.  This means you are now responsible for abiding by laws that are not published, and even classified in some cases.

I have asked before and I will ask again.  When will people say enough is enough?  What happens when people start getting arrested for breaking secret laws, and then find themselves in secret courts.  Oh, wait, that has already been approved by the Military Commissions Act.

This ruling marks yet another blow against personal liberty and freedom, and a giant step towards totalitarianism in America.  I just hope people start waking up to this soon, before it’s too late.

We’re all doomed. Welcome to the machine.

Just another demonstration that the United States of America no longer exists as a legal entity (and has been operating on inertia and the extraordinary patience of the population). The first law supported by the supreme court that violated the Bill of Rights marked the failure of the dream. The only question remaining is do we want to restore it?

sometimes one person can make a difference, sometimes it comes down to root hogg or die! Spread the word, http://www.infowars.com type into your search engines, CAFR , NESARA , Make people understand the two partys are really just one, and they are against US, and what the U.S.A is really for, freedom for all, and our Constitution that demands that we react to criminals even when we find them within our own government! WAKE UP AMERICA, WAKE THEM UP AND THEY WILL FIGHT !

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Indeed; it is scary when people can be arrested, charged, etc. for breaking publicly unknown laws, ’secret laws’. I don’t understand what there is to cause laws to be made secret. WHY? That the true underlying reasons may be covered up is bad, but still not, not necessarily anyway, the same thing as being secret about this [and] making the law itself also secret.

Of course there’s pathological totalitarianism, police state madness, etc., for answers; including that the guilty govt parties evidently have or think they have something to hide and therefore work to ensure secrecy. But in terms of the ruling and law the article is about, I don’t understand what there is of particular need to hide; in the specific respect of this law.

The Bush admin. is refusing to let the law be disclosed, and why? Does it not even really exist at all, on any books; is it just rumour, which of course couldn’t be wholly so, given the Supreme Court ruled that the law would be kept secret and we now know of this; etc.? Is it existent only in the verbal words of the Bush admin.? If it’s on paper, then why not show or disclose it; or, is there a cover-up at all to do with Congress and/or the Senate not having voted on the law’s passage? If so, then we’d know or learn of this anyway; or wouldn’t we? We would if the Congress and/or Senate stated whether or not they voted on the passage of this law. Did either or both vote for passage and want to keep this secret from the electorate(s), to avoid backlash of protest?

What is the bloody reason? Are they pathologically trying to be secret about absolutely everything; they’re not far from it already? Have they become so paranoid because of their full knowledge about their extreme crimes, which required a LOT of secrecy, that they are now pathologically going to try to make everything they “DECIDE” for the rest of us secret(s)?

The Military Commissions and Patriot Acts, as far as I understand anyway, are not secret laws, given they are govt ‘Acts’ of law, right? If these aren’t secret, then it seems to make even or ever less sense that the ruling and law this article is about to be about a now firmly ’secret law’. Or could it or its content be worse than what the MCA and PA say?

The ruling sucks, and, of course, the nine learned orangutans in black robes have done it again. And you can all yak up a storm over it, but here is how to hit back: get with a group of like minded people in your town. Get trained up on what to say to the TSA goons and how to handle yourself. Do this by devising and running a series of drills with each other. I would say that perhaps 10 or so hours of training per person should be sufficient.
Everybody needs to get themselves a cheap-&$$ed plane ticket someplace, everybody books for the same flight. Everybody keeps their pockets packed with tons of pocket change and/or other metal objects and/or metal objects incorporated into clothing, such as underwire bras. Everybody needs to attempt to get thru with no ID claiming you have a right to do so. You then have to submit to the search. They will wand you up one side and down the next and force you to empty your pockets. You can have fun by accusing the goon of stealing your pocket change and other things. Have a list of possible points that you can file complaints against them. Have people along with some spy gear to capture the entire episode. Have it webcammed live.

There is a risk that someone will have their &$$ kicked by a TSA goon. THAT IS A WINNING LOTTERY TICKET!!!!!!!!!!!! LAWSUIT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My guess is that a just a handful of these operations might force a repeal of the policy, inspite of what the FOSWATH’s have said.
(FOSWATH is an acronym for Flatulent Old Slob Wielding A Toy Hammer).

If I stood up to fight the machine. Would you stand with me, behind me? Or would you cower in fear of losing what you hold so dear, money, job, time, love, pride. What price did you sell out for? Think about it, because those that control you already know the answer on a mass scale.

When main stream media condemns me as immoral, extremist a lunatic for stating the truth, will you stand up for me and risk ridicule from the majority, loved ones, friends, neighbors, the uninformed? Or agree with me only in silence.
When will you do something other than talk?
When will you stand up for yourself and consider this. The Revolutionary war was fought with only 12% of the population. The rest passively sided with the British, Americans or were neutral.

If you do nothing you will see your children and grand children herded into economic slavery as cattle. And if you are at a loss for words when asked how this came to be, tell them the truth.
“We lost this great REPUBLIC, not a single shot was fired, what ignorant cowards were we”.

Back to my comment above, and answering “will you stand” … the bottom line is that most people not nearly qualified to lead but many are willing to follow. But, if you are the first to stand up and start barking back at the beast, in addition to possibly being held up for ridicule, you are also setting yourself up for followers, making you a leader.

To get past the ridicule, all that has to happen is that you not flinch, and that you stay on point. Some might ridicule but many more will take your message seriously if you persist.

But the bottom line is that force must be focused narrowly to get the job done, such as the majority of people on a given flight refusing to show ID and instead of “airport prepping” your pockets, i.e., emptying your pockets into your checked baggage before the airport, do just the opposite, making for a long and difficult search for the TSA goon.

To pull something like that off, you need to first start a tyranny response team in your area.

Go to infowars.com, get a TRT shirt, create some 6 panel flyers, use a max of illustrations and a minimum of text, and start passing them out. Have a stack of Alex Jones videos duplicated and printed with a DVD/CD printer. Pass out fliers like crazy.

The point of the drill is not to harrass those who won’t take a flier but rather have the occaisional person come up and ask questions. Dont let him leave without his contact information and without a DVD, make sure he donates as well, if he is more or less on the same page.

If you persist, you will build a group.
